Aims and Scope
Journal Proceedings in Manufacturing Systems is an international journal having the roots in the first machine tools conference founded in 1974 by the Machine Tools Department of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest.
The main objectives of the journal are to provide an international forum for exchanging knowledge, experience, results and information related to various aspects of the advanced manufacturing systems. The journal offers a unique opportunity for experts in this domain to share their experience.
The journal publishes papers in the following main fields:
• Machine tools • Robotics • Industrial Logistics • Machines and equipments • Driving systems and control systems • Cutting and cutting tools • Flexible manufacturing systems • Advanced manufacturing technologies • Approach on CAD, CAM, CAE techniques • Industrial management and marketing
The main topics are:
Papers published in the Proceedings in Manufacturing Systems are original contributions of the authors, or survey articles dealing with theoretical or experimental aspects in the main fields above. Occasionally, special issues of the journal may be devoted to publication of all, or selected papers presented at international conferences or other scientific meetings.
